Works in Development 2016
Checkpoint Theatre is the home of new Singapore playwriting, and its Works in Development showcase is an important part of a rigorous developmental process that brings new works from page to stage. Past scripts that have undergone this careful and considered process include the critically acclaimed Faith Ng’s Normal and Joel Tan’s The Way We Go. This one-night-only event presented the dramatised readings of Associate Artists’ Faith Ng and Lucas Ho’s latest plays. Audience members were invited to give detailed feedback as the works continue to be developed for production.
