A specially designed menu connects humorous and inspiring episodes of Chef Ivan’s life. From a childhood in Brazil immersed in his grandmother’s kitchen grilling fish, to a lobster dish from gruelling times in Per Se’s kitchens in New York, to his personal reclaiming of the complex dishes of Hibiscus and Fat Duck in the UK, and finally to his own landmark culinary philosophy of Crossroads Cooking at Nouri — Ivan Brehm and Huzir Sulaiman team up to pull the curtain back on the culinary experience and the chef’s life as we know it.
