Checkpoint Celebrates! 2012
A celebration showcase for Checkpoint Theatre’s 10th anniversary, Checkpoint Celebrates! featured readings of excerpts from past productions such as highly acclaimed works Atomic Jaya, The Weight of Silk on Skin and Occupation by Huzir Sulaiman; Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards nominees for Best Original Script Faith Ng’s wo(men) and Shiv Tandan’s The Good, The Bad, and The Sholay; and other notable shows City Night Songs and Recalling Mother. Audiences were also given a preview of excerpts from works in progress including A Flamenco Life.
This event marked the launch of the Checkpoint Champion fundraising scheme.
