On Sat 27 Feb, live on zoom, Works in Development 2021 featured two fresh scripts from our Associate Artists, ants chua and Lucas Ho. Participants were invited into the development of these works by watching their dramatised readings and giving detailed written feedback and responses to them. Scripts that have also undergone this careful and considered process include Zenda Tan’s Eat Duck (2019) and Faith Ng’s Normal (2017, 2015).

Read by: Claire Chung, Tricia Tan, Sheryl Teo and Audrey Teong

Playwright ants chua’s new work asks us to consider the politics of gender and representation while celebrating the wild, silly mess that is growing up, together.
