Recalling Mother is a funny and poignant celebration where Claire Wong and Noorlinah Mohamed discuss about the real-life trials and triumphs as they look after their respective aging mothers. One mother speaks Cantonese, the other speaks Malay.

A glimpse into the complexities of the mother-daughter relationship, Claire Wong and Noorlinah Mohamed share with us their stories of their mothers, who somehow seem just as familiar as ours.

With each performance (in 2006, 2009, 2015, 2016, and now 2017), Claire and Noorlinah revise the show. As they and their mothers grow older, new stories are added, while stories they were not ready to tell are now told in full.
